Trimming " from excel Sheet

HI,

 

I am passing the Elements from Excel sheet to my code and in the process test complete is putting \ in elements and looking for something else which I am not passing. For Example I want to pass "ComboBox","" , 1 from Excel sheet but when running the code, test complete is looking for "\"ComboBox\",\"\" , 1" which indeed fails the test.

 

Any help on this?

        OK. I'm not so sure then. I only use it through COM. Shall leave this one to the people who use DDT.

         

        But I do know the way it interprets what type of data a column contains can be a little odd sometimes.

         

        A little more info here, but I expect people who have used it may offer more ....
