You can read through some of the more recent posts on TestComplete 12 and see if any of the issues would apply to you to help you decide. Before you upgrade always make a backup of your project.
Can you please suggest what is the best way to copy a project suite to another folder to take a backup.
I have a project suites with 3 to 4 projects in it and each project has 8 to 10 keyward tests.
To copy this project suite with projects and keyward tests, should i just copy the project suites or should IPROJECT SUITE, save each and every item individually.
Like project suite, each project and then each keyward test etc.
or can i just copy the folder that has project suite, projects and keyward tests into another folder.

I copy the whole project to another folder or another machine. Just in case.

We do two things.
1. All files are in source control so we can roll back/recover at any time.
2. For the upgrade from 11 to 12 I selected the top level automation folder and sent it to a compressed zip file labeled v11.

Yes, we have source control too!
Backup seems like a pain sometimes but it is a bigger pain if something happens and you can't just copy or extract your files and start over. #BeenThereDoneThat #NoFunAtAll
