I would like to post the total no. of test cases and the errors and failures in a dashboard. As of now, test complete report will show the report including the folders of the test items as well. Hence the count is not matching.

If you want something other than what is in the standard TestComplete log/reporting, then you will have to create  your own report.  The link I posted above is a place for you to start learning about that.
