TestComplete not recognising objects during execution, but TestExecute does on same code.

When using TestComplete to code and run the test suite it is not recognising objects even though the alias match as per the object viewer, but when we run the test in TestExecute it does register the...

What it sounds like is that your TestComplete installation may not have all the necessary extensions turned on.  Go to File -> Install Extensions and make sure everything is checked.

    Hi,

     

    thanks for the reply, i checked and compare the extensions and script extensions set up in both and they aligned completely. I selected all in both to see if that would affect anything but that didnt change the state.
