TestComplete could not identify the dorp-down list by "Drag the target to point to the object"

I tried to identify the drop-down list with.  But dragging mark does not highlight dorop-down list. And the dragging mark had gone somewhere. Then TestComplete was frozen.



I need to kill TestComplete process by TaskManager.

    Hi Shigeru,


     


    Do you face this behavior with any drop-down list or only with the specific one? What is this list (what is the value of the control's WndClass property)?

    I'm trying s:DropDownList of Flex (AIR3.1) in Windows 7 64bit.



    Step1: move the drag mark to the DropDownList.

    Step2: pres  "Ctrl+down" key -> drop-down list is displayed

    Step3: move mouse cursor to the drop-down list



    then I could not cancel the operation of identification.

    Hi Shigeru,


     


    As you have the exact steps to reproduce the issue, please follow the steps below:


     


    1. Run the Report Generator tool located in <TestComplete>\Bin\ReportGenerator.exe.


    2. Select the "Launch/attach to TestComplete" option.


    3. Reproduce the problem.


    4. Click the "Generate memory dump" button in the Report Generator tool three times with a 5-second delay between the clicks.


    5. Click the "Generate..." button and specify the destination folder. The tool will create a ZIP archive with the report files inside.


    6. Send the archive to our Support team.
