TestComplete 15.75 – Log Entries Not Linking to Code + “Go to Declaration” Missing in JScript

Hi everyone,

I'm using TestComplete version 15.75 with JScript tests and have encountered a couple of issues that weren’t present in earlier versions:

Issue 1: “Go to Declaration” Missing

When I right-click on any function name inside a script, the “Go to Declaration” option is missing. This used to open the library or script file where the function was defined. Similarly, mapped objects are not being located or opened when referenced in code.

This is making it difficult to navigate and debug larger projects.

Issue 2: Log Entries Not Linking to Failed Code

When a test fails and the log file opens, double-clicking on the failed log entry no longer navigates to the corresponding line of code where the failure occurred. This used to work reliably before. The issue occurs both in TestComplete and TestExecute.

Has anyone else experienced these issues in version 15.75? Are there any known workarounds or settings that might have changed?
