java.sql.SQLException: ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol
Team, The solution mentioned below post doesn't work for me https://community.smartbear.com/t5/SoapUI-Open-Source/JDBC-connectivity-issue-No-matching-authentication-protocol/m-p/171026 We recently migrated from Oracle 11g (Edition release 11.2.0.4) to Oracle 19C (Enterprise Edition - 19.0.0.0) and started facing this issue. Below connection, strings work fine for Oracle 11 but for Oracle 19 it is giving an issue. Connection String -- jdbc:oracle:thin:myUser/myPass@myHost:myPort:myDB java.sql.SQLException: ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol PS -- With plain java code in eclipse, we are able to connect both. Don't know why SOAPUI is throwing such an error.
