TestComplete - "The BlueStacksHelper.exe" process crashed" error?

Using TestComplete to test web based applications.  Tests come from integrated Cucumber Studio project.

TestComplete: Version: 15.52.2.7 x64

 

While running test automation, I periodically see a test(s) fail with the following entry in the log. "The BlueStacksHelper.exe" process crashed"

- This generates an error entry, which causes the scenario to report failure.

 

Note: This isn't new, this has been going on since the beginning - use of TestComplete.  (So not specific to latest version etc..)

 

Does anyone know what this is about?  Thks.

    A quick search on the internet suggests that BlueStacks is "Best Mobile Gaming Platform for PC & Mac..." emulator. Whatever it's doing, it's interfering with TestComplete.

      Ok, so your saying this isn't installed by TestComplete - correct?

    Unless you are testing BlueStack, I don't think it has anything to do with TestComplete.

     

    Are you using an Android emulator?
