Test automation of IBM Lotus Notes

As far as I know, several of our customers tested Lotus Notes applications using the MSAA technology. You can learn about this approach from the Using Microsoft Active Accessibility help topic. Also, you may find the Ways to Interact With Application Objects article useful.

I have tried to record some actions with in Lotus Notes but it seams like the controls are changing internal names everytime I try to access them.



Do you have an example how some automation can be done against Lotus Notes?

Unfortunately, we have no samples demonstrating how to work with Lotus Notes. To help us investigate the situation, please zip the entire project suite folder and send us the archive. Most likely, we'll also need to have the application your are testing here. We'll try to find a reliable way to work with it in TestComplete.
