TC9 not saving date, keyword testing web page

I am attempting to have my test input a date into a date field on a web page.  The test clicks the save button on the web page.  It appears as if TC9 does this.  I receive a successful test.  But when I go and check the actual date in the record, it still lists the old date. 



I have tested using two browsers: IE9 and Chrome



Has anyone come across this behavior before?  I would appreciate any insight into how to resolve this.
