TC with Chrome 38?
I just installed the latest version of Chrome on one of our test machines. The version installed was 38.0.2125.24 dev-m (64 bit). TestComplete does not seem to work with this new version of Chro...

Chrome 38 is available only in the Dev channel. The latest stable release is Chrome 37 - it is installed on my computer, and TC 10.30 works fine.
You need to downgrade your Chrome version and make sure that it's not updated from the Dev channel.
