TC 9 - Namemap size grows beyond control; freezing everything on its way.

Hi,



After upgrading to First TC Version 9 & also installing the latest TC Version 9.0.1312.7, I have noticed that every time, one does a save to the namemap either by create/update/delete an item in namemap, the save takes around 3-5 minutes and the resulting namemap file is 6-8 times bigger.



In my case the namemap file grew from 6 MBs to 98 MB just after deleting an entry in namemap and save again.



Temporary Solution

I have noticed that TC9 adds lots of garbage to the namemap file every time it does a save (could be a defect) and hence the size grows beyond control and also opening such project take long time. so after verifying carefully the namemap file, i have noticed that the namemap file now contains an extra node called





<TypeInfo>

xxx

xxx

xxx

xxx

</TypeInfo>







This node is around 92MBs big.  (Check the picture attached)



If you open your namemap file in any editor and delete this section. Your namemap would come down to original size, in my case 6MBs and things would start working fine.



Note: This has to be done every time you do a change to namemap file



Smartbear guys - Can you please come up with a solution for this?
