You can try using TestComplete 9. However, please note that TestComplete 9 and TestExecute 9 (as well as earlier TC/TE versions) do not officially support Windows 8 and, therefore, we cannot guarantee that the products will work without problems on this OS.



Please note that you need to enable the Microsoft UI Automation technology to make TestComplete be able to access individual elements of the system Metro UI used in Windows. To do this, you need to add the 'DirectUIHWND' window class to the list of accepted windows of the UI Automation Suport feature.
