shared project suite/ teamwork and source control

I am trying to come up with a sensible process for teamwork on our main project suite. At first, I thought source contol using Visal Source Safe was not going to work. It seems that I have to ADD the project to VSS from within Test Complete to achieve binding. But then how would another tester get the rpject and work with it?



I wonder if I could



1. Put the suite out on a network location.

2. Bind the network project to Visual Source Safe.

3. Team members use the suite in shared mode.



Has anyone done this? Do you have any experience / gotchas to share before I spend time testing this?
