Setting up TFS with TestComplete 10

Hi there,

I am in the process of setting up TFS as source control for our TestComplete projects. I have couple of question about checking in/out files.

Scenario 1 : If making change to a script file then just check out/In that file, which is pretty simple.

Scenario 2:  If an object needs to be added to existing NameMapping , do I need to check out NameMapping.tcNM file and then check it In?  Is there any file needs to be checked out/In along with NameMapping.tcNM?

Scenario 3: When adding new checkpoint e.g. Table Checkpoint what files needs to be checked in/out along with where script file where it is going to be used?

Thanks.

  • Hey Zeeshan,

Why don't you let TestComplete manage that process for you? You can see here what files are stored in source control and you can perhaps have a look here to see how you can manage the files from within TestComplete.
