Hi Mor,
Generally speaking, yes they will. However, identification of some elements might differ if your back-end or client-side (server code, jquery, whatever else...) generates different markup for different browsers.
http://support.smartbear.com/screencasts/testcomplete/cross-browser-testing-with-testcomplete-9/ webinar (from http://support.smartbear.com/screencasts/testcomplete/ page) might appear to be useful...
Hi Mor,
Also, the "Cross-Browser Testing" and "Handling Browser Differences" articles will help you create reliable cross-browser tests in TestComplete 9.
- mordeContributorThank you both,
I'll try that :) - mordeContributorHi again,
I am having some trouble of fitting my mapped object to Firefox.
The problem is that TC doesn't recognize FF as a browser - only as a process. Since all the objects are located below "browser" on the name mapping - TC can't find them.
How can I define FF as a browser?
Thanks.
Mor - james_attreeOccasional ContributorDo you have the correct Firefox extension installed?
- mordeContributorYes. I downloaded the 3 extentions and also the flash-debugger add-on.
Still, not working.
Thanks,
Mor
Hi Mor,
Make sure that the appropriate Firefox patch (corresponding to the TestComplete version) is installed on your computer.
