I am usually the one with this question. However I just ran TC 11.20.1491.7 on FF 43.0.4 today with no problem.
You shouldn't have to 'downgrade' to a prior FF version to run TC.
Just in case you don't have it, you might install the latest FF patch and see if that helps:

If this is not yet resolved, please post how exctly you're starting the browser.
