Remove HTML header text from web comparison check

Is it possible to exclude the HTML header text from the web comparrison check, ie information within the <head> </head> tags, our application appends version information in this area.

    Of course, you can modify the stored web page in the Web Comparison Element editor, but it doesn't help you if you use the Compare entire page comparison mode as, in this case, the checkpoint will always fail. I suggest that you consider the possibility of using other comparison modes: Compare only tag structure or Compare only specified tags. Read the "Web Comparison Checkpoint Parameters" article for details.
