Problems with licenses of TestExecute with mix of physical and virtual machines

Hi all,

I got a question regarding the setup of my testenvironment.

right now the situation is like this:

- 1 Test-PC (physical PC, name: PC1) with TestExecute installed and activated

I ordered a second TestExecute license and created a second PC (virtual machine) where my tests are run (name: PC2)

Then I face the following problems:

- I cannot activate the newly acquired license on this virtual machine

- so I installed the license manager on PC1 (the physical PC)

- I wanted to activate the second license on PC1 (serving as license manager), this is also not possible as there is already a license installed

So how should I setup up all this, so that I can run my tests on two PCs. It must be possible that the tests can be run on both PCs in parallel!

I thought about this setup:

- PC1 (physical): convert to license manager, where both TestExecute-licenses are installed, but no TestExecute is installed

- PC2 (virtual): TestExecute is installed and tests can be run

- create PC3 (virtual): TestExecute is installed and tests can be run

Is this a possible setup or are there more simple setups for this constellation?

Kind regars,

Joachim
