Problem integrating TestComplete with Visual Studio

Hi Smartbear Support Team: 



I am using TestComplete10 and Visual Studio 2013 Professional. I have been trying to add a new TestComplete project to my visual studio solution followed by the intructions on this link:

I did check during the installation of TC that I already have Visual Studio 2013 Integration feature checked. However I still couldn't find the testcomplete project under File|New Project window anywhere. I was wondering did I miss any settings? Or there are some configurations required on the Visual Studio side as well?

    Hi Jenny,

     


    Did you install TestComplete before or after installing VS? The required feature may not be installed if you installed VS after TC. 


    Try running TestComplete's installation in Modify mode and install the VS Integration feature anew.

    Thanks for you reply! I tried to run TC installation again under "Modify" mode with the corresponding feature selected, however it still not working. Orginally I had VS installed ahead of TC.  



    Any other solutions worth trying?
