PDF validation in web testing



I need to create a couple of checkpoints in the pdf generated by the web application. Do I have to buy Desktop module for that?

I only have Web module currently and basically I only need to verify that generated pdf is viewable and not corrupted.

    I guess you should have Test complete Desktop module is installed on your computer, other wise you won't get access to compare files through File.Compare().  and the Microsoft active accessibility support feature is active in the File --> Install Extensions.
