Passing trusted root certificates in to scripts

Scripts = VB Script



I'm looking for a method to pass in Security Certificates for functional web tests in IE8.  Theses are soft certs which contain users credentials, the creds are used for role based testing in our app.  I have been able to select the certifciates from the Windows Security dialog when loggin in, it's less than reliable and seems to perform poorly.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
