Overwriting NameMapping does not work

Found while having adjusted the NameMapping.



DESCRIPTION:



I did not save the modified NameMapping but pressed F5 to run the script. Since the NameMapping file was write-protected (we use Perforce here) a dialog came up which I confirmed by "Overwrite".



EXPECTED:



Having a new NameMapping and the script run.



OBSERVED:



Freeze.

    Hi Ernst,


    I failed to reproduce the behavior you described, so please contact our Support Team and send them the following information:


    1. Whether the described problem is reproduced with the project that is not bound to the Perforce control system. To check this out, you can create a new project on your machine and set the Read-Only attribute to its NameMapping.tcNM file. Does the problem remain?


    2. What version of Perforce are you using?
