Object not recognised.



Hi ,

Control within a window is not accessible by test complete.

There is window and a button in that window. Test Complete recognizes window but can bot access button in it.

Looks like the button is third party control. How do I make it open to Test Complete and how do I know what kind of control is it?



Please refer to the attachment. Same issue with matrix inside black screen is not accessable.

    Hi Savitri,


     


    First of all, please refer to the "Supported Controls" article and check whether the control that you're using is on the list of the supported third-party controls.


     


    If it isn't, check whether the control is inherited from a control that is specially supported by TestComplete (for example, from the Infragistics WinGrid control). If it is, use the Object Mapping feature described in the "Object Mapping" article to make TestComplete treat the control as a supported control.
