Next Sibling Item

For the purposes of disabling Stopping on Errors would 'View Only Site Profile' be a sibling to 'Clear History? It's unclear how the differing indention level due so folders affects what is considered a sibling.

    Hi William,

According to my memory and to what I have seen in the .mds file, TestComplete does not differ between folder and test items.

This means, that if some test item ends with an error, TestComplete will navigate one level up, drill down along the tree branch until the first executable test item and continue from there.

In your case, yes, I would expect that  'View Only Site Profile' is the next test item to be executed if the 'Clear History' one fails.

P.S. I don't remember if this was requested 'officially' (via http://community.smartbear.com/t5/TestComplete-Feature-Requests/idb-p/TestXCompleteFeatureRequests), but I found out that it would be pretty handy in some cases if TestComplete has an option to go up one level, move to the next sibling and continue execution from there. Using your screenshot as a sample, this option will make it possible to continue execution from the 'Deny Employee Access' test item in case 'View Only Cost Center' test item fails. This is something that is not possible to configure now (unless you make all test items of the Cost Center node to be a child of one another, but not to be siblings as they are now. But having all test items organized as children quite often is even less convenient...).
