NameMapping Trouble

I created a new project and added an existing script from another project, which all worked fine. However, when I try to run the script I noticed that the NameMapping is empty and did not map to any objects.
After researching this on TestComplete I did make sure that the options was set up to Map object names automatically and Update Name Mapping during test run, but neither seem to help.
Essentially, the script fails because it cannot map to the objects in the preexisting script. Is there a setting that I am missing? Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
