Name mapping: create alias node in object hierarchy

Hi, in Name mapping, I can Change the mapped objects' hierarchy by dragging alias nodes up & down the hierarchy. Is it also possible to create a new 'dummy' alias node? This would help me...

I vote for this too.  Being able to move a branch or copy a branch would really help.
