Microsoft Script Debugger failed to initialize

Why I am getting this error?



"Microsoft Script Debugger failed to initialize. Please reinstall the debuggger components and try again"



I have installed the Microsoft Debugger. I am using Test Complete version 8.7

    Hello Krushna,


    Is the user account under which you run TestComplete has the Local Launch, Local Activation and Local Access permissions for the Machine Debug Manager system component? Please take a look at the Debugging Tests - Requirements Help topic - it contains information on how to set these permissions for the user account.


    If setting the required permissions for the user account does not help, could you please check whether the Process Debug Manager library (pdm.dll) is registered correctly in the system, and whether the pdm.dll file is loaded into the TestComplete process? For information on how to do this, please see this FAQ article.
