Main menu toolbar is MIA

My main menu toolbar disappeared and I haven't figured out how to get it back.  I can see the option when I "customize" another toolbar, but the checkbox can't be checked.  Documentation says you can't make it disappear. hmmm.

    Try to restore the default toolbar settings by using the ALT+V+T+O shortcut.

    Tried it, but wasn't successful.  I think I'll try a reinstall.

    Reinstall (using repair option) worked. It reset settings.
