This can happen because you have Test Visualizer enabled. It captures images of user actions during the test recording and playback. As a result, the size of your logs becomes much bigger. See the "Test Visualizer" help topic.
If you do not need the Test Visualizer functionality, you can disable it from the Visualizer panel of your project properties. See the "Project Properties - Visualizer Options" help topic.
