Licence Error

Hi,



On Launching the TestComplete tool, I'm getting the below error message and the tool is not opening.



Using the TestComplete Standard v. 8.60





Error -

Input/Output error occurred in secure storage area of HASP SL key or a USB error occurred when communicating with a HASP HL key.

Error code: hasp_login, 43.



Could anyone kindly help me to resolve this issue?

  • I know this post is long since dead, but the resolution for me at least was to reinstall TestComplete on the license manager machine.  I received this error on TestComplete 9.30.3373.  Note of caution: there is a checkbox to remove the license manager from the machine when uninstalling TestComplete on the license manager; I didn't check this box during the uninstall/reinstall.

    Check whether the following files exist in your system:



       1. C:\Windows\System32\drivers\hardlock.sys

       2. C:\Windows\System32\drivers\aksfridge.sys



    If the files do not exist, please try reinstalling the product and make sure that the files exist.

  • Yes , both of them are present , yesterday it was working for me , suddenly has stopped working.

       1. Open the Diagnostics page on your computer: http://localhost:1947/_int_/diagnostics.html

       2. Save the page to an HTML file.

       3. Send us the file.
