Is TestComplete 8 Supports DBISAM or NOT?

1. Using "DBISAM 4 ODBC Driver" driver in TestComplete, I tried
to connect to the .DB4 files.

2. I configured required settings like creating
DSN, setting the path where DB4 files are present.

3. And after completing
everything, I am able to see only .DAT files that are present in the defined
path, but not the required .DB4 files.



To get some information on this
issue, I try to search in “Elevate Software” forum, and there the moderator is
mentioned like he is not sure whether TestComplete supports the DBISAM database
or not.



Can someone confirm, whether TestComplete Supports DBISAM or
NOT?

If supports, it will be helpful if someone shares any code samples for
it

    Hi Chaitu,





    TestComplete works with databases using ADO. This means that the tool should be able to work with any databases that can be accessed via ADO. We do not have any experience of working with DBISAM, so I cannot tell you whether there are any known issues with that.





    Please describe in detail which TestComplete functionality you are trying to use. Post images to demonstrate the problem, if needed.
