Is it possible to use together Go to label (operation) and scripts?

Hi, I test something by using scripts and when script will detect some changes I would like to have possibility to skip  some part of my project. If I can't use together Go to label and Scripts...

I was trying set value to the variable by



Project.Variables.Var1 = "New test"



and it is not working variable is empty.



Do I need to do something else to set a value?

I tried many examples of (http://support.smartbear.com/viewarticle/56794/), and the effect is the same.
