If TestComplete is updated, TestExecute needs to be updated too??

Is necessary to update TestExecute V.12.10.602.11 in my Virtual Machines

if I updated my TestComplete V.12.10.602.7 to V.12.30.1651.7  ????

I don't know if I will get conflicts in my scripts for the change.

Someone knows if I have to do the change in my TestExecute too???

Thank you.

If it was different major versions (TC 11 versus TC 12), then yes, you have to upgrade.

However, minor versions I've found not to have much in the way of conflict happening.  Usually, they are fairly compatible.  However, note that minor versions may include support for new technologies that you might end up utilizing in your test cases in TestComplete that, if you don't update your TestExecute version, you may end up with failed tests.

I think it's generally a best practice to make sure your environment is universally the same version across all workstations.

    Hi,

In addition to what was said by tristaanogre:

-- You must have same versions of TestComplete and TestExecute if you use NetworkSuite functionality.
