iexplore crashed while executing (Win 7, IE9)

Hi all,



yesterday I had several iexplore crashed while executing test suite.

Please, find attached 2 dump files the tool automatically generated.



Could anybody help about the root cause of my problem?

    As far as I know, our TestComplete Support team does have a patch for a similar issue. You can refer to them to try it.

    It's difficult to sort out issues related to crashing of tested apps on the forum. You'd better resend the crash reports to our Support team so that our R&D team could investigate them.


    BTW, are you using TestComplete 9.20? If you aren't, I recommend that you try it.

    I got the same problem with TC 9.20.



    TC was installed in computer for all users with a user X with administration rights.



    When executing a TC with this user the iexplore does not crash. The application under test creates a PDF report, the test open the report with Acrobat Reader, captures the image and closes the Reader.t





    However, when executing the same test with another user Y with administration rights the IE crashes after interacting with Acrobat Reader.



    Does this sequence give some idea about the crash reason?

    Hi Tanya,



    I've been experiencing the a similar problem since updating to IE9 and TC9.20.  When I attempt to record a new script, IE crashes.  Do you have any update on this problem as I need to record some new test for testing prior to implementation.

    I'm facing the same problem since updating from TC9.10 to TC9.20 (IE9).

    Hoping there will be a fix soon...

    I am also facing IE 9 crash frequently after upgrade from TC 9.10 to TC 9.20.
