IE opened with TestComplete doesn't see download link

Hello,



I have to automate a test that needs open Interner Explorer, login on an web page and press a button: if the program is installed on the computer, the program must be executed, if not, it must open a pop-up containing a link to download the program.



My problem is that when I open Internet Explorer with TestComplete and the program is not installed, the download link pop-up in not presented, instead an error appears that the program could not be executed. So, it doesn't recognize that the program is not installed and it doesn't display the download link.



I think that the problem is in the way Test Complete opens IE, because when I open manually Internet Explorer the download link is displayed.



Does anyone have any ideea regarding this?
