How well does test complete work if it is placed on a windows 7 vm and needs to access other vms?

    What do you mean by "needs access to other VM's"? To do what? Run a test? Execute scripts? Check for values? 

    The specifics of what you want to do will dictate whether or not TestComplete can do it and, if so, what the best method of doing so is.
