How to run the WPF application in silent mode?

I am using the command below to run the WPF application, but it is starting in GUI mode: TestExecute.exe "<<Project Suite>>" /r /p:<<Project Name>> /SilentMode

Without using TestComplete or TestExecute, how does your application run in "Silent Mode"? How would you manually test your application in "Silent Mode"?
