How to manage different testcomplete codebases for different environments

Hi,



I have multiple project suites (~20) in testcomplete and each project suite has ~50 tests which is run n a weekly basis.



Now that we are adding more and more tests on a daily basis, we would like to branch our environments into automation scripts development and production environments.



we would want to add newly developed scripts to the codebase and run them on a daily basis on the dev environment. Once a week / fortnight / monthly, we would like to push the entire set of tests to production environment based on the stability.



We should be able to move scripts back and forth bet dev and production systems.



Is it good to manage 2 codebases and sync them based on the time interval OR can we have a single codebase and manage to update the test complete suite to check / uncheck list of tests based on the environment that it has to be run against ?



Please provide your valuable inputs on the same.
