Hi bach_ls
If you have access to the properties/attributes in your app under test
Then yes ,we can use a property checkpoint to validate or check this
See here
https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/testing-with/checkpoints/property/about.html
When applying the checkpoint it may default to a context text or text value, which may work but you can change the checkpoint to anything really and check for boolean fields like "Visible" or "VisibleOnScreen"
Let me know how you get on

Following on to this.
You can also do If then operations.
https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/keyword-testing/reference/statements/if-then.html
Here, you can leverage operational parameters to check against things like onscreen objects and use properties to satisfy the condition.

Thank you, but that doesn't answer my question. My main problem is - and maybe I didn't emphasize it enough - that I don't know how to access individual item on the ribbon; or properties of this individual item.

Ok, I think I found a solution to my problem with adressing single item from ribbon:
https://support.smartbear.com/testcomplete/docs/reference/test-objects/controls/misc/item-collection/index.html
I'll try it out next week, although I'm not sure if I can access Item properties this way
