How do you verify content that is displayed as a result of a mouse hover?

When recording a keyword test, how do you freeze the mouse pointer over the tooltip (or other content) so that you can verify its properties. The content disappears when you go to click the target button. (Is there a keyboard shortcut to freeze the mouse pointer location, like the 'scroll lock' keyboard shortcut in Telerik?). I have tried using the Hovermouse operation as described in the video tutorial but this did not help because I want to record the equivalent of the 'View/Edit/Delete' item's properties (not the cappucino picture) but when I go to validate them they disappear.

    Hi Kylie,

An approach how to validate a tooltip may vary based on the tooltip used in your app. So, tell us more about how your tooltip is implemented. What kind of application (WPF, .NET, VCL) are you testing?
