How do I mask input data such as passwords

Question

I am just testing a signon screen as a demo for others but I need to be able to have the passwords masked in the results that are given to end users for verification. We also will be using personal information on our system and that has to be masked in the results. I am brand new (just got the trial today) so hope someone has an easy answer.

Hi John,You can also consider this article http://smartbear.com/support/viewarticle/9030/&nbsp;to not expose sensitive data in the script code.(However I am afraid that it is not the best idea to use real private data for testing. Have you considered TestComplete's Data Generator (http://smartbear.com/support/viewarticle/18767/) to generate test data?)
