Getting the native name


Hi,

I have written some test some time ago and worked very well, and seems those are not working now.

The problem is in old name mapping objects are identified by native Delphi Object name.

Now TC can not find the object even when I tried to re map was not succeed.

(And I think is not practical as well)



Only change was I was using TC 9.3 and updated to 10.3 and added web trial component. 

Please help...

    Something has gone wrong with Windows desktop component while installing web component.

    After installing both again solved the problem.

    I had to struggle to get web licence key and install/change set up to run web several time.

    Think that had corrupted desktop component.

    Theoretically, the components shouldn't affect each other as they are completely different.


    If you face a similar issue next time, I would recommend that you contacted our TestComplete Support team to investigate it.


     


    Anyway, I'm glad that the issue is solved now!
