Failed to call the Advice method of the object's connection points

Hello,



We are having a P1 issue with TestComplete 9. The application crashes with the following error message:

"An error occurred while attaching to Test Complete. Unable to attach to the object. Failed to call the Advice method of the object's connection points"

I have attached a screenshot with the error message window.



If anyone has a solution for this please do advice!

    Hello Ionut,


    We have faced the error before, but we were unable to determine its exact cause. So, to help us investigate it, please answer the questions below:



    1. Have you seen any warnings in your test log that can be related to the error?

    2. Does the error occur if you remove all Event controls from your projects?

    3. Does the error occur with other projects (including the newly created ones)?

    4. Does the error persist if you reinstall TestComplete?

    We encountered the same issue with Test Complete 9.

    After removal of Events project elements - it started to work



    So good point
