Is there a possibility to execute tests through vpn on our cliesnts environment?

A VPN is simply a network. TestComplete uses whatever network layer is there to do it's thing. There's not really anything that using a VPN will prevent in TestComplete.

TestComplete must be installed on the same machine where the tested application is installed.

TestComplete and the application that we test, are on the same VM.
The vpn connection will actually be used to access a database on clients environment.
I guess it will be solved if we install vpn on the vm,
but are there some other limitations with TC that will cause breaking the vpn connection?
