Doubts about Log Pictures
Good Day,
We have recently purchased two TestComplete licenses and we are preparing our first scripts. As the testing progress executes images are created in the log folder.
Each image represents one step of a process that has x number of steps and one of our script files can contain multiple processes as the hierarcy below shows:
Process1 - Step1 -> Image
Process1 - Step2 -> Image
Process1 - Step3 -> Image
Process1 - Step4 -> Image
Process2 - Step1 -> Image
Process2 - Step2 -> Image
Process3 - Step1 -> Image
Process3 - Step2 -> Image
Process3 - Step3 -> Image
All of the images are stored in one folder under log and are stored in SourceSafe in the same way.
After the script completes we wish to rename the images and copy them to individual folders like this:
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process1\Step1.png
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process1\Step2.png
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process1\Step3.png
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process1\Step4.png
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process2\Step1.png
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process2\Step2.png
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process3\Step1.png
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process3\Step2.png
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process3\Step2.png
Then we wish to ZIP the Process1, 2 and 3 folder into individual ZIP files and attach them to emails to send to our team.
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process1.zip
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process2.zip
C:\TestComplete\Script\Process3.zip
Is there a way to do this within TestComplete?
We've been racking our brains trying to find a solution!
Sincerely,
James Liddell
