Creating An Alias Directly from Object Spy
Is there a way to modify the mapped name in Object Spy directly rather than having to find it in the Alias tree in the NameMapping and then drag it there?

At the moment, that's impossible. However, from the Object Spy dialog, you can switch to the Object Browser, and then to the Name Mapping editor by selecting the Show Object in Name Mapping Editor option of the selected object.
