Could not run automation when machine is locked or not connected even when the machine is online

TestComplete/TestExecute REQUIRES access to the desktop.  If you're connecting to the remote machine via Remote Desktop Connection, when you disconnect your remote session the desktop UI thread is terminated, therefore removing your access to the desktop.  One way that I've seen and used to get around this is to use a VNC solution to access the remote machine.  VNC does not terminate the desktop UI thread when the session is terminated, but VNC is slower than Remote Desktop.
