It depends on your tested application what code coverage tool can be used. And it obviously depends on the used code coverage tool how it results can be used in external third-party application.
As an example, you may consider AQtime profiler (https://smartbear.com/product/aqtime-pro/overview/) that integrates with TestComplete and supports a big number of programming tools and technologies.
