Chrome 34 Installers... or other Chrome 35 execution time help

I'm trying to set up a new machine for test execution, and there doesn't seem to be a way to install Chrome 34 on it.  FileHippo and OldApps both lead the old versions back to the Chrome site, which of course gives me version 35...

I'm seeing some extremely long execution times in Chrome, and I was trying to determine if it was because it was verison 35 or if something is really wrong on this platform.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.  Thanks.

  • Hi Rachel,

I don't observe any issue on my computer with Chrome 35. TestComplete 10 doesn't officially support this browser version yet, though.

Do you get any errors in the Test Log after the test execution? First of all, let's check whether TestComplete properly recognizes the web objects on the page. Do you see them in the Object Browser?

It's not any errors, it's just that the execution time is longer.

    Examples:

    Smoke test

    - 8 min Firefox 29.0.1

    - 9.5 min IE11

    - 27.75 min Chrome 35*

    Full daily test suite

    - 30.5 min Firefox 29.0.1

    - 49 min IE11

    - 85 min Chrome 35*

I was hoping to downgrade to Chrome 34 to see if this execution time issue is specific to v. 35, but as I mentioned above, I haven't been able to find a way to install v. 34 again.
